About me

Born in Queens, New York in 1971, I had a terrific childhood growing up on 234th Street in Bellerose Manor. The final monologue of Stand By Me says it all: “I never had any friends later on, like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?”

I currently live in New Jersey, with my awesome wife Sue, our dog Dmitri and two cats: Pavel and Natasha.
I have been an emergency services dispatcher and 9-1-1 operator for seven years and a volunteer firefighter for nineteen.

In 2005 I grew tired of watching people try to pick up their lives after Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast, so I drove to Ocean Springs, Mississippi and stuck around for three weeks to help folks out. This was one of the best experiences in my life.

After a number of years on the waiting list, I finally got season tickets to the New York Jets in 2008. I can be found in section 303.
